Hi there, it's been election time last weekend. And lucky we are still having Schröder and the Red Green Coalition. They got away with a blue eye and a slight majority. Everything seemed to be better that Stoiber from his black Bavaria (the whole federal state voted for him with 60% (he can't even speak German properly...) ) for me. He is head of state in Bavaria, so I guess they wanted to get rid of him... Now they have to keep him and also Mr. Bush will not be happy! Anyway I am happy with the result. Who cares about Bush. But I reckon that's not the platform to discuss this. Hope your well - take care.

how about life???
touch YOUR heart - feel the beat of YOURs.
dig deep into YOUR soul - get the sense of YOU being alive.
live life with the rhythm of YOUR soul - take care of it as it might break.

Yes, we have found a new housemate in Antony of the Public Service. After an exhaustive and thorough search, he muscled out the contenders and was a clear winner. Antony moved in on the weekend, and will be given a blog account forthwith, whence he can introduce himself.
Our weather has been lovely - Sunday was over 28 and clear blue skies. Yesterday was a bit cold and overcast, but today is another gorgeous one, though a bit chilly. So, as predicted by the north/south hemisphere theory, our respective whethers are 180 degrees out of phase.
Still no luck getting the new website into bloody Google. By inspecting the Google cache of the blog with the actual old blog I was able to determine that Google last visited between July 30 and August 5, not to be seen again! Ah well. Maybe if I put another link in. Do you think I could count this detective work towards my PhD thesis? Unlikely. Am I obsessed? Probably. Do I need to have my very existence validated by the web, in particular Google? Certainly. To those who scoff and chide: On the weekend I got some fan mail from my adoring public. Alright, a guy sent me an email about my work. But the key thing is he found me through the web. So there.
Other news: my big sister Alison has got a flat in Carlton, on Rathdowne St. Specifically, the art deco former brothel that Ivan moved out of two weeks ago. Small world. She's already furnishing her flat, starting with a wee Scotsman who answers to Kenny, which is lovely.

Hi folks, how are you, lucky with the new housemate? I'm still busy with my structural analysis stuff although Robert who is visiting me at the moment saves me from a learning overkill.
Well and it's getting autumn now, still quite sunny but the air is a lot fresher and the nights are already quite cold with around 10 degrees. Maybe we'll get a great winter with some big snow. In any case I'm already looking forward to the season of ice skating.
Anyway have a nice week and get the hell out of it...

I'm sitting here at the open window in a nice mild night and there is beautiful music in the air - I've put some Gustav Mahler in the magic CD slot. It is very quiet outside today, I guess they all take a nap to be fit for some long weekend nights. Ah and there is Captain Bluebaer, he is telling me some of his great stories. (Has anyone read the big yellow one I left with the house???) Well and I do remember my fantastic time in OZ.
Some hint for your life I am willing to give you today as well. These are things that come into ones mind in such nights... "May your life be like a roll of toilet paper - long and useful."
